Free Tasting at 4 Flights
Tonight (that’s Tuesday, October 6, for those of you who recall my previous trauma) at 4 Flights Wine Boutique:
Saint M Riesling 2005 — A collaboration between Washington’s Chateau St. Michelle and Germany’s A-List Riesling producer Dr. Loosen.
Frei Brothers Sauvignon Blanc 2008, from the Russian River Valley.
Paolo Scavino Rosso Vino Da Tavola – I love Paulo Scavino wines, but most of them are expensive enough I can only afford to drink them on special occasions. This table wine is a blend of 40% Nebbiolo, 30% Barbera, 20% Dolcetto and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, and is priced for every day — or even twice a day — drinking.
There’s apparently another wine to be tasted, but 4 Flights is keeping it a secret. They promise it’ll be good, but the tasting’s free so who’s going to complain? The tasting runs from 6 to 8 P.M.
4 Flights Wine Boutique is in Norton Commons. Here’s a map for those of you who get lost easily.
