Juice Bags for Grown-Ups
Glenora Winery in the Finger Lakes becomes the first American winery to sell wine in a pouch. The 1.5 liter bags are similar to the Capri Sun juice bags familiar to anyone who has reproduced since about 1985, except that instead of sticking a straw in the bag there’s a spigot at the bottom.
The packaging is by AstraPouch, which has lots of good, practical reasons why pouches are the wine packaging of the future, including the fact that they’re not glass so you can take them to the pool or beach.
