Obviously, we need to hold a DrinkLocalWine.com conference there. The Wine Market Council tracks that information for U.S. regional wine. and the number (excluding California) is the same — half of U.S. wine drinkers say they have tasted wine from their state. Which seems more impressive than the British number, given how far behind we are in wine knowledge. How wonderful that U.S. wine drinkers are more sophisticated than their British counterparts.
