Juiced Moose

A Swedish rescue team has removed a drunken elk from a tree.

The animal was apparently on the hunt for fermenting apples when she lost her balance and became trapped in the tree…It is not unusual to see elk, or moose as they are known in North America, drunk in Sweden during autumn, when there are plenty of apples about.

After being removed from the tree, the elk went to sleep in a nearby garden. Residents report the next morning the elk wandered off, apparently in search of a cup of coffee.

Funny picture here.

In related news, The blog, Louisville Juice, has lost its momentum and appears to be stuck in a sporadic, intermittent search for cutesy links to alcohol related factoids. It is not unusual to see bloggers, as they are known in the InterWeb tubes, lose focus and become disoriented in the presence of all the schlock available on their computers. Concerned netizens are hoping the writer will take a nice nap in his garden and return to his old form of supplying inquisitive readers with frequent submissions consisting of his well-crafted original material and insightful analysis.
